They call themselves TheEyeconics and they are “Just 2 Kids That Love Hip Hop”. Let’s just say DJ/producer Predator Prime and lyricist S.B. The Anomoly know a little “something – something” about the importance of showing respect to Hip Hop’s roots. After all, the duo is comprised of a Bronx bred MC and the son of Hip Hop icon, KRS-One. Joining forces as TheEyeconics, they are now ready to share their passion for the Culture with a new school Kid ‘N Play inspired mixtape.

“Just 2 Kids That Love Hip Hop” includes thirteen tracks (plus bonus!) of golden era nostalgia mixed with present day elements. So what can you expect from this mixtape? A little bit of everything from classic, feel good joints like “For the 90’s” and “Network” to more serious, soul searching lyrics like on “Dear, Mom” and “Past Lives”. “Take Money” featuring Skitzo and “Mic Check” are head knockin’ battle style raps that will have you feeling like you just stepped into the Cypher. Yes. Yes, Y’all. This project is for the Hip Hop Head that has a preference for creative wordplay and pays close attention to a cleverly paired beat.
