After recently releasing the single to critical acclaim, Miami artist Lex One reveals the animated, clever, and colorful new video for “Let’s Get Lost,” featuring singer-producer Hellz Poet.

As anyone who has heard the track can attest, the two multi-talented artists crafted a seriously catchy banger with “Let’s Get Lost.” The song balances the concepts of lust and love over bouncy electronic production, which actually serves as the pulse of these eye-popping visuals.

Super-talented visual artist GeD (peep his Instagram: @ged_kid) is the man behind the video, which features some slick editing work and even more impressive animation. Beyond the creative nods to Lex and Hellz’ lyrics and instrumentation, GeD pieced together some scenes that will have any video game fan feeling some instant nostalgia. We’re talking references to Pac-Man and that damn dog from Duck Hunt, the latter of whom finally gets what’s been coming to him.

The track was crafted alongside the artist Hellz Poet, who provides the addictive hook and helped co-produced the bright and skillfully layered instrumental. Clearly, the two have a talent for collaborating, because Hellz’ sing-along chorus glides smoothly into Lex’s opening verse. And it’s there where the multi-talented Floridian digs into the song’s concept of embracing the moment, particularly when it comes to relationships.

“Let’s Get Lost” and its two vocalists work as perfect complements to one another; Lex is all about action (aka sex anytime and anywhere) while Hellz wants the love interest to know that she is, in fact, loved. It’s an interesting dynamic for sure, and one that’ll hopefully lend itself to more collaborations between these two in the near future.

The Levee might be broken but WateRR always knows when to go with the flow. The MC possesses the kind of style and finesse that could only be cultivated in his home town of Chicago. It should come at no surprise then that his work ethic is equal to his passion for music. On his newest album, “Broken Levee”, WateRR relates to the fans who care just as much for the beat selection as for the lyrical content. Capable of lyrically adapting to each song’s audible elements, he makes the album (as his name suggests) fluid. Quality in large doses, the album includes a blend of nine tracks that represent what a Midwest mentality can do when applied to the creative hustle.

The Intro “Amnesia” serves as a prelude to WateRR’s personal inspirations featuring vocals by Precious, setting the tone for the album. “Broken Levee” has moments of amped up energy on “Goin Crazy” and “Sum’n Mean 2 It” both produced by Tru Colors. This is paired with moments of smooth, body movin’ vibrations like “Cater 2 You” featuring Felony Davis and produced by BJ.
